美国电视剧集 LOST，中文译作迷失，2004年由美国著名的制作公司ABC投拍，也成为了该公司继《双面女间谍（ALIAS）》后最热播的电视剧集。本电视剧共有6季，至今已经完成了4季的播出，目前观众们正等待第五季（2009年2月）的到来。

　　LOST讲述的故事具有开放性，很多人看完一季后依然存在大量的疑问，该剧题材涉猎广泛，大量使用了经典科幻、悬疑、自然探索类小说电视电影作品元素，如果是发烧友，一定能从LOST中发现很多熟悉的元素。该剧讲述的是一群人乘坐从澳大利亚至美国的航班，美航815，途中飞机偏离航向后坠毁在一个海岛，劫后余生了48名乘客，似乎各自都有不可告人的过去，能幸存也似乎绝非偶然，由于在坠毁后还有一些乘客和飞行员被不明的森林中的物质杀害，所以给活下来的人增加了不少恐慌。
　　整个影片主要外景地位于美丽的夏威夷瓦胡岛，岛上中部是高山密林，有瀑布和峡谷，海滩美丽。剧中的生还者就在这个岛上，一部分居住在沙滩以求容易被救援人发现（实际上，由于这个岛对外界似乎有某种封闭的力量，似乎根本没有人能来找到他们），另一部分则准备扎根于此，住在森林的洞穴中，靠近水源。在岛上的生活过程中，他们陆续发现了很多奇怪的事，似乎除他们之外，还有一些人或者其他物质存在，这被称为The OTHERS，陆续他们还发现他们并非是空难的唯一一群幸存者，岛上确有其他因为类似原因受困的人，他们会如何相处？他们会得救吗？遍布于岛上的奇怪建筑和危险区域又是何人所为？到底这个岛有什么秘密？他们来到这里到底是命运安排还是巨大阴谋？或许只有自己去看过，每个人才会得出自己的看法，这就是概念开放式剧集的精彩之处！另类摇滚乐队The Fray 2002年在美国丹佛市成立，由4人组成，包括：同为校友的Isaac Slade（主唱和钢琴）和Joe King（吉他，演唱）以及后加入的Dave Welsh（吉他）和Ben Wysocki（鼓手及打击乐器）。
经过三年的努力，在2005年的9月终于推出了首张专辑《How to Save a Life》，而之前的单曲《Over My Head (Cable Car)》则最早出现在电影原声大碟《Stealth》之中。乐队风格与英国的Coldplay和Keane相似，但THE FRAY的特点在于乐队对钢琴的钟爱。专辑中的主打歌曲《Over My Head (Cable Car)》无疑是一首值得多听几遍的歌曲，而标题歌曲《How to Save a Life》来得更加的抒情，开场的钢琴绝对让人沉醉，歌曲也在很大程度上和《Over My Head (Cable Car)》打成平手，专辑在美国本土卖了150万张，在BILLBOARD专辑榜上更是排到了前12名的位置。
