Whitney Houston I Look To You事实证明，惠特妮•休斯顿（Whitney Houston）依然是美国人所热爱的歌后。根据尼尔森音乐数据统计，她的全新专辑《我期待》（I Look To You）在推出的首周轻而易举地就以30万5千张的销量登上公告牌专辑榜的冠军位置。

据悉，这也是尼尔森音乐数据统计自1991年诞生以来统计到的Whitney Houston专辑首周最高销量，而她此前的最好的首周销量是2002年推出的《Just Whitney》，首周卖出20万5千张，排在公告牌的第9位。

Whitney Houston在1986年推出首张同名专辑，以及在1987年紧接着推出的第二张专辑《Whitney》都是专辑榜的销量冠军，而后者更使Whitney成为了首位新专辑推出首周就成为冠军的女性艺人。她在1993年为电影《保镖》所推出的原声大碟，更是记录性地在专辑榜的冠军位置连续停留了20个星期之久。新专辑《我期待》则是这位天后在相隔多年之后再登冠军宝座。
